Victor Lind opened the scoring for Hammarby from a penalty kick in the first half, a decision that drew criticism from Sirius staff and commentators who suggested the contact was insufficient for a penalty. Paulos Abraham added a second goal early in the second half to seal the win.

Despite the loss, Sirius maintains their position at the top of the table. The outcome keeps the championship race highly competitive, with Djurgården also remaining a mathematical contender for the title.
