Hammarby defeats FC Rosengård in Damallsvenskan match

Hammarby secured a 2–0 victory against FC Rosengård in a critical Damallsvenskan fixture held at Malmö IP. Despite FC Rosengård creating an early opportunity through Remy Siemsen and Bryleeh Henry, Hammarby goalkeeper Emma Holmgren prevented a goal.

Hammarby took the lead when Elin Ågren Sørum scored on a half-volley following an assist from Anna Walter. Mari Nyhagen added a second goal just before halftime, also assisted by Walter.

The loss leaves FC Rosengård's position in the Damallsvenskan uncertain. While Hammarby has already secured second place in the league, FC Rosengård, IFK Norrköping, and Växjö must now compete in the final round to determine who remains in the league, who enters the relegation playoffs, and who is relegated. FC Rosengård is scheduled to face Brommapojkarna in their final match.
