Hampus Karlsson scores twice in Vimmerby Hockey victory over Kalmar HC

Hampus Karlsson scored two goals to lead Vimmerby Hockey to a 3–2 training match victory against his former club, Kalmar HC.

Karlsson, who previously played for Kalmar HC before moving to the SHL with IK Oskarshamn, noted the personal significance of the match. While his friend Hugo Jonasson scored for Kalmar, Karlsson’s performance served as a confidence booster ahead of the league premiere.

In addition to Karlsson’s goals, Linus Millner Westberg contributed to the win with a goal in the second period. Karlsson credited teammates Anton Carlsson, Hannes Hellberg, Nick Bochen, and Kevin Wennström for assisting in the offensive plays.
