Hamster Corporation to release ‘The Conveni 2’ on PS5 and Switch 2

Hamster Corporation has announced the release of ‘Console Archives: The Conveni 2’ for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 on September 3, 2026. Originally released in 1997 by Human for 32-bit home consoles, the title is a business simulation game where players manage a convenience store chain.

The updated version features revamped graphics, an increased number of maps, and a shift to an isometric viewpoint. New quality-of-life features include a double-speed mode, the ability to create original store markers, and the option to add game software as in-game products. Players can also influence urban development by attracting facilities like schools or zoos to change consumer demand.

While the port includes modern enhancements such as save states, customizable controls, and CRT TV filters, the in-game text remains exclusively in Japanese. The game is priced at 1,200 yen (approximately $11.99).
