Hamza Abdel Karim signs contract extension with FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona has extended the contract of Egyptian striker Hamza Abdel Karim until June 30, 2030. The new agreement reportedly includes improved financial terms and a significant increase in his release clause, rising from 15 million euros to 150 million euros.

Although currently registered with the club’s reserve team, Abdel Karim has become a regular participant in first-team training sessions at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. He gained attention during the pre-season period, where he finished as the team's top scorer with four goals.

Abdel Karim has also gained popularity among fans due to his daily routine. Unlike most teammates who arrive by car, he walks home to his residence in Sant Joan Despí, which is located near the training facilities. He is noted for his positive interaction with supporters, frequently stopping to take photos with fans near the training grounds.
