Hamza Abdelkarim rises to prominence at FC Barcelona

Egyptian striker Hamza Abdelkarim has emerged as a key figure for FC Barcelona following a series of impressive performances during the club’s pre-season preparations. Abdelkarim scored during Barcelona’s 2-1 victory over Al Ahly in the Joan Gamper Trophy, adding to goals he previously scored against Birmingham City and Basel. He currently leads the team in scoring during this preparatory period.

Due to his form, manager Hansi Flick and sporting director Deco are reportedly considering him as a primary attacking option for the upcoming season, particularly if the club does not secure a new striker before the transfer window closes.
