Hamza Ali dismissed over allegations of secret property sales to partner
Real estate agent Hamza Ali has been dismissed from Ray White following allegations that he secretly sold two properties in Fawkner, Melbourne, to his partner, Hirani Nair, without disclosing their relationship to the owners.
Ali was referred to Consumer Affairs Victoria in December last year after an anonymous complaint. Records indicate that in March 2025, Nair purchased a property on William Street for $720,000, which had been marketed with a price range of $700,000 to $750,000. The property was subsequently subdivided for the construction of two townhouses.
The couple was also reportedly involved in the off-market sale of a deceased estate in Esther Court, Fawkner. In that instance, Ali had appraised the property between $700,000 and $750,000, but Nair purchased the house for $620,000.
