Hamza Igamane returns to ball work at LOSC Lille

Moroccan international striker Hamza Igamane has reached a significant milestone in his recovery from a long-term injury. After nine months of absence due to a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), the 23-year-old has returned to the LOSC Lille training ground at Luchin to begin working with the ball.

Igamane suffered the injury during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) final against Senegal. While he has resumed individual technical drills and ball work under the supervision of physical trainers, he is not yet ready to rejoin full team training or return to competitive matches. His return date to official competition remains undetermined as he continues a progressive rehabilitation process.
