Hamzabeyli Border Gate sees 30-kilometer truck queues

A massive truck queue stretching up to 30 kilometers has formed at the Hamzabeyli Border Gate on the border between Turkey and Bulgaria. The congestion is affecting export vehicles transporting goods from Turkey to European countries.

Drivers report waiting for several days due to insufficient processing capacity on the Bulgarian side. Some drivers have expressed frustration over long delays, lack of basic facilities like toilets or food, and security concerns regarding illegal migrants approaching vehicles during the night.
