Separately, Palestinian resistance groups announced that, under a proposal from the Board of Peace, they will not hand over any weapons to Israel or any foreign entity. Article 8 of the agreement calls for heavy weapons to be stored and frozen under the supervision of the Palestinian Authority, with the process linked to Israel’s full withdrawal from Gaza and the commencement of reconstruction.
