Han Dong-hoon calls for political solidarity based on principles

Independent lawmaker Han Dong-hoon addressed potential political alliances during a press conference at the National Assembly. Regarding rumors of a coalition with Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, Han stated that solidarity should be based on shared principles rather than personal friendships. He emphasized the need to unite with anyone who agrees on the mission to prevent the perceived overreach of the Lee Jae-myung administration and to protect the democratic republic.

While Han did not specify whether figures like Jang Dong-hyeok or Lee Jun-seok would be included in such an alliance, he noted that he would judge individuals by their actions rather than their internal thoughts. He maintained that anyone sharing the goal of defending the constitutional order should join forces.

Han also issued strong criticisms against the Democratic Party of Korea. He condemned the push for an investigation into Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae, characterizing it as a lynch mob intended to protect Lee Jae-myung. Furthermore, he criticized remarks made by lawmaker Park Ji-won regarding investigations into Han’s daughter, describing them as an attempt to inflict political torture.
