Han Dong-hoon criticizes President Lee over dispute with Rhyu Si-min

Independent lawmaker Han Dong-hoon has criticized President Lee Jae-myung regarding a growing dispute with commentator Rhyu Si-min over prosecution reform. Han stated that the President is unable to win against Rhyu, referencing his own past legal victory against the commentator.

The conflict arose after Rhyu accused the President of deceiving the public regarding his prosecution reform plans. In response, the Blue House expressed regret over Rhyu’s claims and indicated it is considering legal action to address what it calls the distortion of facts.

Han Dong-hoon criticized the decision to pursue legal action against a commentator from the President’s own political camp while on an overseas trip. He urged the President to focus on diplomatic duties and urgent domestic issues, such as investigating a recent landmine explosion in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) that injured a soldier, rather than engaging in political battles.
