Han Hyo-joo addresses rumors regarding changes to her appearance

South Korean actress Han Hyo-joo has recently faced online speculation regarding potential plastic surgery due to changes in her appearance. Online community posts highlighted her more pronounced double eyelid lines and larger eyes compared to previous appearances at brand events.

In response to such rumors, Han has previously addressed the topic on the YouTube channel ‘VIVO TV’. She explained that she had no double eyelids during middle school but developed them during high school. She noted that her eyelids continue to change with age, stating, “As I get older, double eyelids keep appearing. Some days, I even have five of them.”

Medical experts note that it is common for double eyelids to develop or change due to aging, loss of facial fat from dieting, or changes in the skin tissue around the eyes. Such changes occur when the levator muscle connects with the eyelid skin, creating a fold as the skin loses elasticity or fat decreases.
