Han Ji-min's partner's stalker fined for threatening actress
A woman in her 30s has been sentenced to a fine of 6 million won for threatening and insulting South Korean actress Han Ji-min. Investigations revealed that the perpetrator is the same individual who previously stalked Han's partner, Jannabi vocalist Choi Jung-hoon.
Between September and October 2024, the woman posted 19 instances of malicious content on social media, targeting Han and her acquaintances. The posts included threats to interfere with Han's film projects and demands that the couple announce their breakup. The Seoul Central District Court noted that such actions caused significant damage to the actress's long-standing reputation.
Prior to these charges, the woman had been convicted for stalking Choi Jung-hoon. Her actions against him included leaving hundreds of abusive comments on his personal blog, making death threats, demanding private meetings, and sending sexually explicit content. She also engaged in physical stalking by visiting the vicinity of Choi's agency. For the stalking offenses, she was previously ordered to pay a 5 million won fine and complete a stalking treatment program.
