Hana Bank to resume non-face-to-face mortgage loans in November

Hana Bank announced it will resume the sale of non-face-to-face mortgage loans starting November 2 at 5:00 PM. The resumption includes products such as Apartment Loan 2 and refinancing options for residential mortgages and officetels.

The bank will also restart the sale of mixed-rate Mortgage Insurance (MCI and MCG), which allows borrowers to increase their loan limits by preventing the deduction of small-sum lease deposits from the total loan amount. However, the suspension of MCI and MCG for variable-rate loans will remain in effect.

Hana Bank had previously suspended new applications for non-face-to-face mortgage loans in August to manage the growth of household debt. The decision to resume services follows an increase in the bank's capacity to manage household lending volumes and aims to improve financial accessibility for actual homeowners.
