Hana Financial Group holds AI workshop for 140 executives

Hana Financial Group hosted an "AX Workshop" on May 25 at its Hana Global Campus in Incheon, Cheongra, bringing together 140 senior executives. The two‑day session focused on hands‑on practice with generative AI, where participants designed AI agents to support tasks such as market and industry analysis, report drafting, and meeting‑note summarisation.

The workshop is part of Hana’s broader AI transformation strategy, aiming to embed AI across its banking operations. The group plans to roll out AI education from executives to frontline staff, develop finance‑specific AI services for export‑import automation, corporate credit assessment, wealth management and risk control, and deepen collaborations with external AI specialists through its Hana Convergence Technology Institute.
