Hana Kuraki, Japanese adult video actress, reportedly found dead in Tokyo

Reports have circulated on social media regarding the death of 25-year-old Japanese adult video actress Hana Kuraki. She was reportedly found dead in an apartment in the Kabukicho district of Tokyo. While official confirmation from her agency, S1, or the police has not yet been released, speculation regarding suicide has spread widely.

Unverified reports and social media posts suggest Kuraki may have been involved in a troubled relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Shota Taira, a host in Kabukicho. Allegations include domestic violence, financial exploitation, and a June incident where Kuraki was reportedly injured after being struck by Taira’s vehicle. A person known as Sakito, a host club owner, stated he assisted police at the scene and noted that Kuraki had previously expressed distress regarding her personal relationship.

Kuraki, who debuted in 2024, had recently paused her professional activities following her injuries in June. Her death has sparked significant discussion online concerning the mental health and safety of performers in the industry.
