Hanazono Kintetsu Liners announce 2026-27 leadership and slogan

The Hanazono Kintetsu Liners have announced their leadership structure and team slogan for the 2026-27 season. Peter Umaga-Jensen will continue as captain, supported by Mitchell Brown and Ryosuke Kataoka as vice-captains.

The team will retain the slogan ‘TNT’ from the previous season. The acronym carries a dual meaning: ‘Takes No Talent,’ emphasizing that success comes from attitude and effort rather than innate ability, and ‘Team No Tameni,’ which translates to ‘for the team.’

Through this philosophy, the club aims to build on previous foundations to win Division 2 and secure promotion to Division 1.
