Handball Academy opens in Nilüfer for youth training

A new Handball Academy has opened in Bursa through a collaboration between Nilüfer Belediyespor and the Turkish Handball Federation. The academy is designed for children aged 7 to 13 and represents a first for club-based training in the region.

Head coach Aydemir Aslankaya stated that the initiative aims to revitalize the sport's infrastructure and foster a love for handball among youth. The curriculum includes athletics, gymnastics, movement training, and coordination skills. Currently, approximately 40 students are enrolled. Training sessions are scheduled for weekdays during the summer and on weekends once the school year begins.
