Handball Bagnols Gard rhodanien (HBGR) secured its first home victory of the season in Nationale 2, defeating the Istres Provence Handball reserve team with a score of 34-33.

Despite an early lead driven by Dorian Tourraton, Istres took control during the first half, leading 14-17 at the break. Istres maintained their momentum into the second half, extending their lead to 20-24. However, HBGR rallied behind performances from Kylian Mas, Rai De Assuncao Lopes, and Jérémy Sucarrats-Bonnery to equalize at 27-27 before ultimately clinching the win.
