Handball clubs announce organizational changes and mergers

Handball clubs in Germany and Switzerland have announced significant organizational updates. At the Frisch Auf Göppingen handball department assembly, leadership reported a successful season featuring regional championships and multiple team promotions across various age groups. Due to rising association fees and hall rental costs, members voted to increase department contributions for individuals from 40 to 50 euros and for families from 60 to 80 euros. Uschi Riegel and Alexander Kolb were re-elected to lead the department for another three years.

In Switzerland, the men's and women's handball departments of TV Zofingen have officially merged to form TV Zofingen Handball. Following a general assembly, the new organization approved its statutes and budget, electing Claudio Galasso as president. The merger aims to unify the future of active, junior, and children's teams. The club also honored long-standing members with honorary titles and appointed Heinz Lüscher as honorary president.
