Dubočica 54 secures historic first European handball victory

In European handball, Dubočica 54 secured its first-ever international victory by defeating Austria's Alpla HC Hard 34:33 in the EHF European Cup. Despite trailing by four goals at halftime, the Serbian club rallied in the second half, with Pavlović scoring a decisive penalty with 15 seconds remaining.

In women's Champions League handball, HC Podravka suffered a 31:24 defeat against Denmark's Odense Håndbold. Coach Ivica Obrvan cited a lack of concentration in the first half as a primary cause for the loss, noting that the team struggled to overcome an early deficit despite improved play after the break.

In volleyball, the Slovenian men's national team continued its strong performance at the European Championship in Modena, Italy, securing a 3:0 victory over Sweden. The win follows their previous victory against Slovakia, establishing them as favorites in Group A.
