Handball preseason: Karlovac and Krim secure victories

In recent handball preseason activities, Karlovac secured a 32:29 victory over the Slovenian top-tier club Krka from Novo Mesto. Despite a difficult first half where the home team trailed 14:16, a strong second-half performance led by Benedek Pinter, who scored seven goals, and goalkeeper Radočaj, who recorded ten saves, allowed Karlovac to complete the comeback.

In women's handball, the 20th memorial tournament opened with a match between Podravka and Krim. Krim secured a 27:24 victory in a game that also counted toward the Regional Handball League. Tina Barišić led Podravka with six goals, but the team was unable to overcome the Ljubljana-based side.
