Handball tournaments held in Germany

Various handball events took place in Germany during August. At the 16th Heide Cup, held from August 7 to 9, over 25 youth players from various age groups participated. The event featured opportunities for young athletes to walk onto the court with professional players during matches and the final. TSV Hannover-Burgdorf emerged as the tournament winner.

In Cuxhaven-Duhnen, the Handballverband Niedersachsen-Bremen e. V. hosted a beach handball tournament on August 15 and 16. The event included 106 teams across A and B youth categories, as well as five inclusion teams, totaling more than 300 matches. Notable winners included TSV Altenwalde in the inclusion category, ATSV Habenhausen in the male B-youth division, and HSG Stuhr, which secured victories in both the female B-youth and A-youth divisions.
