Hande Yener launches STAR Gene fashion space in Amsterdam

Turkish pop star Hande Yener has opened STAR Gene, a creative retail and gallery space in Amsterdam’s Herenstraat 32. The venue blends music, fashion, design and sustainability, showcasing Yener’s iconic stage costumes, haute‑couture pieces, eyewear, bags, shoes and one‑off designs, each accompanied by a signed letter from the artist.

The project also features artworks by painter Ekin Akış and sculptures by Merve Öztemel. Yener oversaw the concept, product selection and overall development, describing STAR Gene as a “living area” where visitors can be inspired, discover new creations and experience a constantly evolving story, rather than a conventional shop.
