Handmade markets scheduled for Itami and Kyoto

Two upcoming handmade markets are scheduled to take place in Japan.

In Itami, the inaugural ‘Botte marché’ will be held on November 3, 2026, at the Sangenji-mae Plaza. The event will feature approximately 40 selected vendors, including creators from both within and outside the city. The market will offer handmade goods, gourmet food, and four kitchen trucks.

In Kyoto, the 10th Kyoto Handmade Marche is set for December 5 and 6, 2026, at the Miyako Messe Exhibition Hall. This larger event expects approximately 1,000 booths and over 20,000 items, ranging from accessories and interior goods to fashion and food. The event will also include nine types of hands-on workshops where attendees can learn from creators.
