HandyGames rebrands as THQ Nordic Mobile

HandyGames has officially rebranded as THQ Nordic Mobile. This strategic realignment aims to consolidate publishing operations under a single brand to accelerate the development and release of high-quality mobile adaptations of PC and console titles.

The new division will focus on bringing established franchises from the THQ Nordic portfolio to iOS, Android, and next-generation mobile platforms. The company intends to leverage its successful history of producing premium mobile ports for titles such as Wreckfest, Titan Quest, and SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated.

Despite the change in the publishing and marketing name, the core creative team remains unchanged. The development unit based in Giebelstadt, Germany, will continue to operate under its original name, HandyGames Studios, focusing on original mobile productions while providing technical support for mobile ports.
