Handüzü Bicycle Festival announced for Rize

The 10th International Handüzü Bicycle Festival has been officially announced for September 5-6, 2026. The event will take place at the Handüzü Plateau in the Güneysu district of Rize.

Approximately 100 athletes from six different countries are expected to participate in the competition. Local officials, including Güneysu District Governor Eyup Gurdal and Mayor Rıfat Özer, attended the launch meeting to discuss the organization's goals of combining sports with socio-cultural activities. In addition to the cycling races, the festival will feature concerts, local games, and various social events designed for families and visitors.
