Hang Seng University of Hong Kong hosts awards and lecture hall naming

The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) held its 15th Junzi Corporation Awards Presentation, honoring 34 organisations with 36 awards for ethical business practices. New award categories for social enterprises and charitable organisations were introduced, and the HSUHK Business Ethics Index 2026 rose to 67.2. Among the winners were Henderson Land Development Company Limited and Peoplebank Hong Kong Limited.

On the same day, HSUHK held a naming ceremony for a new lecture hall in the Creative Humanities Hub, naming it the “Chi Wah Foundation Lecture Hall” after a generous donation from the Chi Wah Foundation, founded by Dr Colin Lam. Officials highlighted the foundation’s support for education and talent cultivation in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland.
