Hani's Cinderella Role in Korean Drama 'Love On The Menu

The South Korean series *Love On The Menu* has attracted strong viewer interest for its gentle yet emotionally charged romance. The drama features K‑pop singer‑turned‑actress Hani, formerly the lead vocalist of EXID, in the lead role of Han Gyu Rim – a character reminiscent of a modern Cinderella. Han Gyu Rim grows up in a disadvantaged family, takes multiple jobs to support relatives, and sacrifices her own youth. Her early love with Kim Mu Jin is lost, but eight years later the former lover reappears, reigniting buried feelings while class‑based obstacles remain.

Critics and audiences have praised Hani’s natural performance and her ability to convey the character’s inner turmoil. Since her screen debut in 2015, Hani has steadily built an acting résumé that includes *You Raise Me Up*, *Idol: The Coup*, *Ghost Doctor* and now *Love On The Menu*.
