Hanjin Group delivers emergency relief supplies to Nepal flood victims

Hanjin Group has completed the transport of emergency relief supplies to support victims of recent devastating floods in Nepal. Working in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Hanjin served as the logistics provider for the government-led relief project.

The relief efforts included the transport of approximately 40,000 thermal blankets to help survivors maintain body temperature. These supplies were dispatched from Hanjin’s Global Distribution Center at Incheon International Airport and flown directly to Kathmandu via Korean Air.

In addition to the government-led mission, Hanjin Group affiliates provided direct aid. Korean Air transported 1,000 boxes of bottled water and 1,000 blankets to Nepal. These items are scheduled to be delivered to victims, hospitals, and rescue sites through the Nepalese government.
