Hanjin to manage broadcasting equipment logistics for Asian Games in Japan

Hanjin has been appointed to manage the international logistics for broadcasting equipment used during the Asian Games in Aichi and Nagoya, Japan. The company is responsible for the entire process, including collecting equipment from the three major terrestrial broadcasting centers in South Korea, transporting it to Busan Port, and managing customs and sea freight to Japan.

Once in Japan, Hanjin manages the import customs, storage, and delivery to the local International Broadcasting Center (IBC). Following the conclusion of the games, the company will also oversee the dismantling of the equipment and its return to South Korea. Due to the high value and precision of the cameras and audio-visual gear, Hanjin is utilizing specialized wooden packaging and careful handling to mitigate risks from shock and vibration.

This project builds on Hanjin’s established expertise in sports logistics, having previously handled major events such as the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
