Hanka Rackwitz operates inn in small Saxony-Anhalt village
Television personality Hanka Rackwitz has transitioned from reality TV to running the Gasthof ‘Zum Dorfkrug’ in Freist, a village of approximately 270 residents in the Mansfeld-Südharz district of Saxony-Anhalt.
In a ZDF reportage titled ‘Heimweh - Sachsen-Anhalt mit Alexander Prinz’, Rackwitz discussed her decision to settle in the region. She noted that local residents in Freist were actively seeking an operator for the establishment. The 57-year-old former reality star, known for appearances on shows such as ‘Big Brother’ and ‘Sommerhaus der Stars’, expressed a deep connection to her roots in the former East Germany.
