Hankook & Company Group completes employee teamwork challenge

Hankook & Company Group has concluded the second season of its teamwork program, ‘Together Further, Higher Challenge’. The initiative was part of the group’s broader ‘Better Together’ organizational culture campaign, which aims to foster horizontal communication, collaboration, and mutual trust among employees.

Approximately 800 employees participated in the program from September 16 to October 9, using the ‘RunDay’ mobile app to participate in walking and stair-climbing challenges. The participants exceeded the group’s collective goals, recording approximately 23 million steps—more than double the initial 10 million step target—and climbing a total of 101,000 meters.

This year’s program introduced a theme of ‘chance encounters’ to encourage interaction between different teams. Participants could earn extra points by engaging with other teams during exercise and posting verification updates. The group plans to recognize outstanding collaborative teams with awards and special events.
