Hankook Tire Indonesia expands corporate blood‑donation program in Bekasi

PT Hankook Tire Indonesia held a second wave of its corporate blood‑donation drive on 2 July 2026 at its Cikarang facilities, partnering with Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) in Bekasi. More than 70 employees from production and support divisions participated, bringing the total number of donors to over 100 across the February and July sessions. The effort yielded 98 bags of blood, which PMI will distribute to hospitals for surgeries, accidents, childbirth and other medical needs.

The program, described by President‑Director Jung Jinkyun—who also donated his own blood—forms part of Hankook’s broader CSR agenda in the region, which includes installing public lighting, drilling wells and supplying school furniture in Bekasi since 2024. By structuring the drive into three annual waves, the company aims to maintain a steady blood supply while encouraging a culture of care among its workforce.
