Hankook Tire named one of TIME’s ‘World’s Best Companies’
Hankook Tire & Technology has been named one of the ‘2026 World’s Best Companies’ by TIME magazine in collaboration with Statista. The selection is based on a comprehensive evaluation of employee satisfaction, revenue growth over the past three years, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) metrics.
The company’s inclusion follows significant financial milestones, including surpassing 10 trillion KRW in annual tire sales for the first time. Growth has been driven by an expanded portfolio of premium products, such as high-inch tires and those specifically designed for electric vehicles, alongside stable performance in major global markets.
In terms of sustainability, Hankook Tire has implemented several initiatives, including long-term power purchase agreements for renewable energy at its Hungarian plant and expanding ISCC PLUS international certification to production sites in South Korea, Hungary, and China. The company has also committed to a 2050 net-zero goal and received the FIA 3-Star environmental certification.
