Hankook Tire to showcase commercial vehicle technologies at IAA Transportation 2026

Hankook Tire & Technology will participate in IAA Transportation 2026, the world's largest commercial vehicle exhibition, held in Hannover, Germany, from September 15 to 20. This marks the company's sixth appearance in the commercial vehicle sector since its debut in 2010.

The company plans to showcase its latest truck, trailer, and bus (TBR) tire technologies, specifically highlighting its ‘Smartec’ technology system designed to enhance safety, mileage, braking, and durability. The product lineup will include specialized options such as the ‘Smart Line’ for high-speed long-distance transport, ‘Smart Flex’ for medium-to-long distance, and ‘e-Smart City’ for electric city buses.

In addition to its core products, Hankook Tire will present its global brand Laufenn’s trailer tires, ‘Alphatreed’ retread tires, and the ‘Hankook Smart Fleet’ management solution. The exhibition will also feature future-oriented concepts, including 3D-printed sustainable concept tires and the ‘Wheelbot 2,’ which utilizes a three-axis spherical tire structure.
