Hankyu Umeda Main Store to host 12th annual red bean sweets festival

Hankyu Umeda Main Store will host the 12th annual ‘Toki wo Kakeru An’ event from October 28 to November 2, 2026. The festival features approximately 210 varieties of sweets from roughly 130 brands, focusing on red bean (anko) based treats.

Highlights include fresh dorayaki made on-site, azuki gelato, and customizable dorayaki where customers can select their preferred bean fillings. The event will showcase products from across Japan, including more than half of the featured dorayaki representing all 47 prefectures for the first time. Specific offerings include seasonal items like azuki mascarpone, chestnut parfaits, and various bean-based shakes and pies.
