Hannah Einbinder discusses new film and Los Angeles identity

Actor and comedian Hannah Einbinder is promoting the UK premiere of Jane Schoenbrun’s meta comedy-horror film, ‘Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma’. In the film, Einbinder portrays Kris, a filmmaker tasked with rebooting a slasher series.

Einbinder, known for her Emmy-winning role in ‘Hacks’, discussed the contrast between her character Kris and her real-life persona, noting that Kris is more insecure and subdued. She also spoke about her cultural identity, stating that she identifies more as a third-generation Angeleno than as an American, expressing a deep loyalty to Los Angeles.
