Hannah Klugman wins Lexus Wrexham Open singles title

Seventeen-year-old Hannah Klugman secured the Lexus Wrexham Open title by defeating France’s Elsa Jacquemot 6-2, 6-4. This victory marks the biggest title of Klugman's career and makes her the youngest Briton to win a singles title at the W100 level or higher.

Klugman completed the tournament without dropping a single set throughout the week. Following her win, she noted that while she was shaking after the match, she felt proud of her performance and viewed the tournament as a significant milestone in her development as a young player.

British success continued in the doubles final, where Freya Christie and Eden Silva defeated Japan’s Hiroko Kuwata and India’s Ankita Raina with a score of 6-2, 6-3.
