Hannah Reilly’s ‘Roleplay’ completes sold-out Edinburgh Fringe run

Sydney-based writer and comedian Hannah Reilly has completed a sold-out run of her new one-woman show, ‘Roleplay’, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The 70-minute production, which consists of 22 shows, has received significant critical acclaim for its exploration of identity, sexuality, and the pressures of modern capitalism through the lens of a failing podcaster.

The production is directed by Paige Rattray and produced by Francesca Moody Productions and Global Creatures. Given the pedigree of the producers, who were involved in successful works such as ‘Fleabag’ and ‘Baby Reindeer’, there is high anticipation for the show’s future. Following its success in Edinburgh, the production is set to move to London.
