Hannah Storm announces she is cancer-free following surgery

Longtime ESPN and ABC anchor Hannah Storm announced she is cancer-free following a recent hysterectomy. Due to the surgery, Storm will miss her scheduled coverage of the New York City Marathon this Sunday.

Storm shared the update via social media, noting that while she had hoped to return to work in time for the race, her doctors advised her to take more time for recovery. She expressed gratitude to her medical team at the Mount Sinai Tisch Cancer Center.

This news follows Storm’s previous battle with DCIS breast cancer, which she was diagnosed with in early 2024. She has since become a prominent advocate for early cancer detection and medical causes.
