Hannah Yeoh divorces husband after 18 years of marriage

Hannah Yeoh, the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), has divorced her husband, Ramachandran Muniandy, after 18 years of marriage. The news was confirmed via an update to Yeoh’s official website, which also details her political portfolio and personal background.

The couple married in January 2008 and have two daughters, Shay and Kayleigh. Both Yeoh and Ramachandran, aged 47, joined the Democratic Action Party (DAP) in 2007. While Yeoh has maintained a prominent political career, including serving as the Speaker of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly and the Minister of Youth and Sports, Ramachandran has worked in the technology sector as the CEO and co-founder of Asia Mobiliti.
