Hannover 96 unveils 2026/27 home kit with city landmark details

Hannover 96 introduced its home jersey for the 2026/27 season. The red shirt incorporates eight embossed motifs representing city landmarks – the Ernst‑August‑Denkmal, Marktkirche, Kröpcke‑Uhr, Telemax, Anzeiger‑Hochhaus, Leibniz University and the three "Warmen Brüder" – on both front and back. The garment is finished with a black‑white‑green striped collar and matching sleeve cuffs.

Club managing director Hening Bindzus said the kit reflects the long‑standing bond between the city and the club: "Hannover prägt 96 und 96 prägt Hannover." Fan reactions are split. Some praise the design, calling it "a kit that feels like home" and labeling it a "Banger" or "geiler Scheiß." Others criticize it as too similar to the previous version, with comments such as "Sah vor zwei Jahren schon scheiße aus" and accusations that the club is "trying to fool us."
