In Hattingen, firefighters responded to a full‑scale caravan fire on a parking lot in Elfringhausen, using a C‑rod and foam to prevent re‑ignition. The same unit later contained a motor‑oil spill from a parked bus in Holthausen and extinguished a kitchen‑fire in a multi‑family house in Rauendahl, gaining forced entry after smoke alarms triggered.
