Hannover Messe launches 2027 Robotics Award competition

The Hannover Messe has opened the call for entries to the Robotics Award 2027, inviting companies and research institutions worldwide to submit robot‑enabled automation and logistics solutions. Applications must be received by 1 November 2026. The 2026 award was granted to the startup Good Bytz for a compact industrial robot kitchen system that meets food‑processing standards.

The fair also highlights its broader focus on automation, digitalisation and robotics for future high‑rate, adaptable production. A new Robot Training Centre at the Fraunhofer IFAM in Stade will provide interdisciplinary training and research on humanoid robots, aiming to boost industrial competence and evaluate safety, productivity and economic impact.
