Hannover's Maschseefest Offers Free Family Activities During Summer Holidays

The Maschseefest in Hannover runs a free family program from 7 to 9 August on the Kinderwiese at the Heinz‑von‑Heiden‑Arena. Each day between 14:00 and 19:00 children can join crafts, climbing, games, basketball stations and an inflatable castle.

Additional attractions include the Hannover 96 mascot Eddie, a walk‑act by Erlebnis‑Zoo Hannover, an up‑cycling market run by the Saubermänner, and a Johanniter‑Unfall‑Hilfe ambulance that teaches basic first‑aid. The weekend closes with the Glocksee Waste Awards, highlighting sustainability, while parents can relax at a coffee stand and all visitors receive free drinking water.
