Hanoi announces fireworks locations for 2026 National Day

Hanoi has announced plans for a fireworks display to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day on September 2, 2026. The 15-minute display is scheduled to take place from 21:00 to 21:15.

According to Plan No. 330/KH-UBND issued by Vice Chairman Bui Duy Cuong, the city has designated five locations for the event: the Hanoi New Newspaper headquarters, the Hanoi Post Office in Hoan Kiem, Dua Island in Thong Nhat Park, the F1 track at the National Sports Complex in Tu Liem, and Lac Long Quan Flower Garden in Tay Ho.

The celebration will feature a combination of high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks. The plan includes 3,700 high-altitude shells and 390 low-altitude racks distributed across the five sites. The Hanoi Capital Command will lead the technical execution and safety coordination alongside local authorities.
