Hanoi announces key vocational training industries

The Hanoi People's Committee has issued Decision No. 4287, establishing a list of key industries and professions for intermediate and college-level vocational training within the city. The list includes 61 specific occupations.

Notable highlighted sectors include performing arts, such as Western musical instrument performance, traditional musical instrument performance, vocal music, piano, and drama acting. Other key areas include mechanical engineering, semiconductor microchips, artificial intelligence, and automotive technology.

The decision also identifies sectors to support tourism and services, including tour guiding, culinary arts, and hotel management. Additionally, the city has categorized eight fields for students and educators to pursue research or study abroad, including information technology, biomedicine, and finance.
