Hanoi Announces Social Housing Project CT2 Priced at Up to 1.5 Billion VND per Unit
The Hanoi Department of Construction has released pricing for the CT2 social‑housing tower in the X2 residential zone of Lĩnh Nam ward. The 17‑storey building, built on more than 1.5 ha with two underground levels, will contain 150 apartments. Eighty‑three units are designated as social housing and will be sold at a provisional price of 28.4 million VND per square metre – roughly 1.1‑1.5 billion VND per flat, inclusive of VAT and maintenance fees. The remaining units include 31 rentals priced at about 110 000 VND per square metre per month, 12 lease‑purchase apartments and 24 commercial spaces. Handico is the developer, with total investment exceeding 293 billion VND. Registration for buyers is slated for the third quarter of 2026, with project completion expected in the first quarter of 2027. The announcement follows Hanoi’s earlier release of 19 proposed social‑housing projects across districts such as Đan Phượng, Xuân Phương, Hoàng Liệt, Việt Hưng and Sóc Sơn, the largest being the Tân Hội scheme on over 53 ha.
